THE CENTRE FOR MODERN LANGUAGES IS:
ONE OF THE DEPARTMENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT
The Centre for Modern Languages supports the university providing an intensive foreign language teaching and international certification programme and ranks as one of the major centres of language learning and teaching in the area. Language classes and courses run in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Russian are addressed not only to UITM students and faculty but to companies and institutions as well.
The education programme designed by the Centre is assisted by the most innovative teaching methods and state-of-art multi-media tools (on-line interactive foreign language courses). This programme promotes development of all language skills outlined in the syllabus and required at the UITM examination. It is also devised to meet the requirements of the international exams and to obtain language certificates in general English (TELC/LTE) and in specialist English (LCCI).

THE EUROPEAN LANGUAGE CERTIFICATES (TELC) EXAMINATION CENTRE IN RZESZOW
The Centre conducts The European Language Certificates (TELC) examinations in English, German, French, Russian, Italian and Spanish accredited by TELC GmbH in Frankfurt am Main. The TELC GmbH is a member of ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe). It cooperates with a network of partner organisations serving over 3300 examination centres in 16 countries.
The TELC examinations follow the guidelines for language learning and testing described by the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning (CEF) and are at five different levels of language competence ranging from A1 to C1.
The European Language Certificates are state recognized in Germany, Italy, Catalonia, Hungary, Czech Republic. In Poland all TELC B2 examinations are recognized as an entry requirement for the Polish civil service. They also have academic recognition. Universities throughout Europe carry out TELC examinations to make university entrance easier. TELC examinations are acknowledged by employers as well. They are directly related to occupational purposes and language needs at the workplace.
Through the TELC Examinations Centre in Rzeszow candidates can also obtain TELC certificates in its over 100 partner institutions throughout Poland, among others in Warszawa, Krakow, Wroclaw, Poznan, Bydgoszcz, Szczecin, Bialystok, Lublin, Kielce, Radom, Bielsko-Biala.
So far over 25 000 candidates have been certified for TELC examinations.

LONDON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY INTERNATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (LCCI IQ) EXAMINATION CENTRE IN RZESZOW
The Centre provides a variety of business-related and vocational examinations designed by the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry IQ which is one of the biggest British institutions offering internationally recognized National Vocational Qualifications. LCCI IQ is linked with the international Chamber of Commerce and for 105 years it has been carrying out its examinations through 8500 centres around the world.
The LCCI IQ examinations are aligned to the UK National Framework and the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning (CEF) and are at five different levels of language competence ranging from A1 to C1.
LCCI IQ qualifications are matched to the specific job skills required by employers for entry into universities and professional bodies worldwide.
So far over 3 500 students have received accredited proof of their skills.
LONDON TESTS OF ENGLISH (LTE) EXAMINATION CENTRE IN RZESZOW
The Centre offers examination at five different levels of language competence (A1 - C1) designed by Pearson Language Assessments. LTE examinations are mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
